Blackhead is caused when excess skin oil, sebum and congesting toxins are expelled through your skin from the blood and lymph fluid that supplies your skin with nutrients. These congesting toxins combined with skin oil and sebum clogs your pores causing blackheads, whiteheads, and full blown acne. 

Causes of Blackheads

Following are the major blackheads causes:

1. Improper skin care
2. Oily and combination skins



Follow the following diet and free the body of harmful toxins in order to have a beautiful and vibrant skin. This diet will also improve and strength your liver functions. However you have to take care that from now on you follow a healthy and well balanced diet. This journey is very difficult and thus start only if you have the confidence in you and don't give up in between.

A SIX-DAY DIET REGIMEN

BREAKFAST FOR EACH OF THE SIX DAYS:
Fifteen minutes before you are ready to eat breakfast squeeze the juice of one lemon in a medium glass of hot water and drink it. The rest of the meal consists of 250 ml of fruit juice (orange or grape), 5 level tablespoons of cottage cheese, 250g fresh fruit - you can eat only one kind of fruit or combine fruits in a salad (no bananas or avocados). You may drink one cup of tea, with milk and sugar if desired. Between breakfast and lunch you should drink all the vegetable broth (recipe provided) as you can hold. Also eat fresh raw fruit. Make a large quantity of the vegetable broth and store in the refrigerator.


LUNCH FOR EACH OF THE SIX DAYS:
Drink two cups of vegetable broth during the meal. Make a salad by chopping fresh, raw vegetables in a bowl. Use four from the following list: Asparagus, beans, beets, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, cucumbers, celery, green peppers, lettuce, onions, pumpkin, spinach, squash, tomatoes. For dessert, slice fresh fruit and serve with drizzle of honey. You may drink a small glass of fresh milk if desired. Between lunch and dinner drink all the vegetable juice you desire and eat all the fresh fruit you want.


DINNER FOR EACH OF THE SIX DAYS:
Drink two cups of vegetable broth during the meal. Select two or three of the different kinds of vegetables listed and steam-cook them with a little butter. Eat a generous helping of each. Eat a medium slice of whole-wheat bread with butter. For dessert, eat a fresh fruit salad. If you feel hungry after dinner, eat as much fresh fruits as you want and drink vegetable juice.

RECIPE FOR VEGETABLE BROTH:
To make vegetable broth, dice 7 carrots and 1 small bunch of celery into small pieces. Place in 2 quarts water and boil for 15 minutes. Add one-third bunch of fresh parsley and a large handful of fresh spinach. Flavour with tomatoes, green peppers or garlic. Boil 10 minutes more. Drain off the broth, retaining the fluid. Flavour with salt of onion. This recipe makes about one day's supply. It can be used hot or cold. The purpose of this broth is to flush the system, so drink lots of it during the 6 days. It's loaded with minerals.


1. Prepare a paste of oatmeal or almond and apply it on the face. Mix either oatmeal or almond powder with rose water to make a soft paste that spreads easily on the skin. Rub it on skin with fingertips especially on the affected areas. Leave to dry for about 15 minutes and then wash off with cold water.
2. Make a solution of one and a half cups of hot water and half a tablespoon of boric powder. It is also an effective home remedy for blackheads.
3. Mix fresh limejuice with some ground drumstick pods and leaves. It has good results on the treatment of blackheads.
4. Warm a little honey and apply on the blackhead areas. Wash off after 10-15 minutes. It is also a good remedy for blackheads.
5. Make a paste of ground radish seeds with water and apply on face to remove blackheads.
6. Prepare a mixture of 1 tsps groundnut oil with 1 tsp fresh limejuice. Apply it to prevent the formation of blackheads and pimples.
7. Prepare a paste of ground radish seeds with water and apply on face to remove blackheads.

Blackheads Treatment and Advice

1. Always keep your skin clean.
2. You can also use some oil control formula for skin to prevent blackheads.

Herbal Remedies for Blackheads

1. Boil 2-3 teaspoons basil leaves in a cup of water. Steep 10-20 minutes. Cool, and apply with cotton ball. It is an effective herbal remedy for blackheads.
2. Make a paste of fresh fenugreek (methi) leaves and apply it over the face every night for 10-15 minutes and washed with warm water. It is an effective remedy for blackheads.

Fashionable Diet to Follow this Summer

There are diets one can follow over summer months and there mainly have the term light involved in them. The key is to dress light, to wear make up that is light and importantly, to follow a diet that is light, breezy and cooling. Eat well, no doubt but avoid food that is rich in oil, fat or carbohydrates that are over cooked in any way. For instance, many people enjoy a glass of lemonade in summer and this goes to show that lemonade is an apt drink for summer time. Summer months, require drinks that are light and cooling for the stomach and your system like lemonade, which is lemon juice and water mixed together.
Diet to Follow this SummerThis is a great option for summer and so are natural juices and fruits, like melons, watermelons, apples, and various as well as different fruits one can have in summer time and summer months. There are mangoes that people relish and devour over summer time as this is the season for the ripest and the best of mangoes but an overdose of mangoes creates heat in the body and therefore, take control or rather have or practice as well as exercise control over how many mangoes you consume. Try and limit it to one mango a day in summer time and summer months. This is idealistic and the best way to consume mangoes without going excessive.
Fashionable diets to follow this summer are the light hearted way to eat this summer! Eat fruits, eat veges (vegetables) but eat them baked or cooked, but not fried! Eat rice and roti with lots of dals and vegetables, but do not consume excessive or overt amounts of pickle. Avoid diet or regular coca cola in excess, whether it is Pepsi or Coke or Thumbs up, they are aerated drinks, and it is ok to indulge in one or two once in a way but not regularly and not as a habit for sure. Have lemonade and lemon barley, or a fresh glass of coconut water or watermelon juice to keep cool and to substitute aerated drinks when possible. There are fresh cut salads like broccoli based ones, or sprouts and tomato based salads that are fashionable and cool for this summer for each one to follow and have as a perfect or idealistic summer fashion food diet! Try fruit salads too!

Shows on ethnicity and designers like Ritu Kumar have embodied the concepts of style and tradition by creating versions of the Indian Saree. A Sabyasachi saree is different and has a unique quotient to it, while a Satya Paul Saree would be colour-centric and pleasing to the eye that favours colour. Meanwhile you have not so high-end stores selling their special versions of the Indian Saree making it feasible to choose from various options and looks. From looking elegant, to looking hot, to looking basic, to looking stylish, there is a saree for your every requirement for every look
When Priyanka Chopra Wore the gorgeous Saree in the song Desi-girl from Dostana, it looked sizzling on screen. It literally created a bigger stir than her swimsuit scene of the film. This goes to show that the Indian Saree concept is not drab, and it’s not overtly traditional any longer either. It has taken a turn and today, the saree is embodied internationally as well.   • The first and foremost thing, which you have to keep in mind, is that you need to take a well balanced diet and drink enough water. With all the festivals and holidays, our diet goes out of window and we tend to binge on oily and junk foods. Since in winter we don’t feel much thirsty, we tend not to drink the usual eight glasses of water. Remember to drink enough water to keep you hydrated.
  • Apply a high quality moisturizer preferably from Clinique, Olay or Estee Lauder day care moisturizer with vitamin E on your skin just after you have taken the bath. It helps in locking the moisture in your body for a longer time.
  • If you cannot avoid going out in winter, wrap yourself with a long sleeved sweater and coats to combat harsh, cold wind of winters.
  • Follow the regime of cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing even during winters. It will help you keep your skin healthy. In winters, dead cells generally accumulate on the skin, and by following this regime, you can keep your skin healthy.
  • Wear sunscreen during the winters too as harmful sunrays may make the skin rough and dry.
  • You could also keep your home’s environment warm by running a humidifier inside the house.
  • Before you take bath, you could also apply oil preferably mustard, coconut, or olive oil on your skin. Warm a little amount of oil and generously apply it on your skin and massage it on the all the body parts. Now take bath how you normally do. It will not only keep your skin moisturized but will also keep the moisture intact for whole day.

  • Don’t take very hot shower and instead go for shower with warm water. You could also opt for bathing during nighttime as you will be in the warm environment only and your skin will not have to combat cold wind.
  • Never use soaps especially during winter. Use a moisturizing bathing lotion, which contains glycerin or olive oil.
  • Protect your lips with a good lip balm. You could also apply a little mustard oil in your navel at the time of sleeping to keep it moist and from getting chapped.
  • Some people suggest taking vitamin E supplements to keep the skin from drying. Taking omega-3 fish oils pills also help in combating dry skin.
  • You could also use Shea butter or Cocoa butter to keep your skin hydrated and moisturized.
  • You could also apply a mixture of almond oil and honey on your skin to keep it moisturized. Add few drops of honey in almond oil in 1/3 to 1 ratio and apply it on the skin. Rinse it if it feels too sticky otherwise keep in on your skin.
